Journal of the Western Slope Index: Subjects

Author, Title and Subject index.

Subject Index

The Journal's 116 articles cover a broad spectrum of Western Slope history.  Some articles are very specific to a person, place or narrow topic while other articles look at how national issues impacted the Western Slope.

This is not an exhaustive subject index.  Instead it can be classified as a major topic index.  Each article was skanned for the major topic or topics, people, and places.  Subject headings were assigned accordingly.  For a few articles a single subject heading covered the article but most were assigned at least two subject headings.  There are a total of 185 subject headings used.
