You're designing a 2-3 acre farm! Use this guide to help you research sustainable practices you can incorporate.

About the sustainable practices farm project

  • The farm must incorporate sustainable practices such as composting, soil regeneration, and organic pest/weed/pathogen control.
  • The farm would grow at least three different crops for use in a culinary operation.
  • Topics that you might need to research may include:
    • Farm layout and design
    • Crop rotation
    • Food forests
    • Mushroom cultivation
    • Calculating crop yield and usage
    • Agricultural business plans and cash flow
