When creating captions for Creative Commons or Open Access images you use in academic or professional work, include the Title, Author, Source, and License. This is true whether you’re sharing the work as-is or if you have made an adaptation. To remember these attribution elements, it’s helpful to think of the acronym: TASL.
For example:
"1996 Jocassee Quiet Solitude" by anoldent is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0.
Note that in this caption, the title is also a stable link to the work.
