Ta-Nehisi Coates' writing career spans many genres: journalist, author, novelist, comic book writer. He was a senior editor at The Atlantic for over a decade, where he wrote feature articles. Additionally, he's been a guest columnist for The New York Times, The Washington Post. In 2015, Coates was a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship.
