This guide will help you with your assignment for BIOL 106.

Popular vs Scholarly Sources

Unsure how to tell the difference between a popular and scholarly source? Check out the video from How Library Stuff Works!

The Details

Many popular science articles are based on peer-reviewed science articles. For this assignment, you'll be looking at two connected articles -- one from a popular source and the corresponding scientific article. The tabs on the left can help you find each type of article.

Over the course of the semester, you'll be writing about four different animal species that are found in three different phyla. Refer to D2L for due dates.
