Diane Hacker's Research and Documentation Online provides examples of sample papers and suggests how to document sources in APA style.
If you cannot get access to the APA Manual, you can refer to Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL). Their APA Formatting and Style Guide includes examples and instructions for citing the most common types of sources.
