The first place to start is usually the main search box at the Tomlinson Library Home Page. From the search box, you can use the "Books, eBooks, Media, Etc." default tab to look for books and DVDs, or, the "Articles" tab to find magazine or journal articles about a particular topic. If you want to find out if we have a particular journal such as "American Music" use the "Journal Titles" search tab.
The library has many resources which can be helpful for music history research.
Books -- The library has nearly 2000 books on music history, mostly located in the ML 159 to ML 3785 area.
Magazines and Journals -- The library has both print and oniine magazines and journals relating to music history.
DVDs and Videocassettes -- The library has a number of videos relating to music history.
Prospector -- Through Prospector about 16,000 music history related titles are available.
